A corporate rebrand for a trusted paint supplier

Objective

The primary focus of this project was to refresh the logo for an established brand after auditing the brand and analyzing competitor assets.

Solution

The updated logo for Sherwin-Williams refines the brand’s presence through the use of BW Publico Banner in a bold black weight, paired with tight tracking and a subtle modification to the stem of the “r” introduces a more tailored, elegant gesture. The project was extended by designing paint can labels as well as social media posts.

Branding

Overall brand guidelines as well as packaging were developed for Sherwin-Williams paint cans, translating the brand’s identity into a cohesive labeling system designed for clarity, and strong visual impact in retail settings.

Getting Social

The visual system was extended to social media content to create a consistent brand experience across packaging and digital channels.
